Welcome to Wyalusing Borough

We're so glad you're here!

Fountain Park

The fountain that was formerly a watering trough in the center of downtown Wyalusing, from 1905 to 1926, is currently in the courtyard by the Borough Hall.

Ken Taylor Sr. brought the idea to track down the watering trough to the Wyalusing Rainbow Club.  Taylor had fond memories of watering his pony at the watering trough on his way to school.

The Rainbow Club then put-up seed money that resulted in a $20,000 grant to complete it’s use as a fountain in the courtyard.  The historical treasure was found in Laceyville and was owned by Arno and Paul Moeller.  The Moeller’s felt the whole community should be able to enjoy it and donated it back to the Wyalusing Borough.  The courtyard project was complete in 2003 in time for Wyalusing’s 250th anniversary.
